There is nothing small in the service of God… — Frances de Sales
We have many opportunities in our spiritual community to become involved. Serving is a wonderful way to get connected, make new friends, give of yourself, become part of something larger than yourself, and grow spiritually through service.
Most opportunities are open to anyone who wants to get involved. For more information about any of the opportunities listed below, please contact us.
Music
Our choir provides music for Sunday and special services.
Prayer Chaplain Team
Unity Prayer Chaplains provide prayer support by offering one-on-one prayer after Sunday services and by making monthly telephone calls to each member of Unity Chapel to pray and celebrate life milestones.
A Unity Chaplain:
- Supports congregants on their spiritual journey
- Creates and holds a sacred space with others
- Listens from the heart and holds in strictest confidence what is heard
- Prays with others
Anyone who feels called to become a Unity Prayer Chaplain must participate in an interview, orientation session, intensive initial training, and ongoing training. Chaplains must make a one-year commitment to serve Unity Chapel.
Prayer Team
We support the congregation by providing chaplain services. These include prayer, home and hospital visits, and a loving ear when needed.
Youth Ministry
We provide positive spiritual development through teaching Unity principles in a loving, safe environment to children and teens. Learn more.
Sunday
We strive for excellence in our Sunday services, providing weekly lessons to inspire and guide our congregation into an awareness of their inner beauty. We provide joyous and uplifting music that compliments the theme for the day. Our services combine spirituality and fun, providing an opportunity for all to experience their spirituality in a new and different way.
Hospitality
We provide the space for creating new friendships and experiencing fellowship while enjoying a light lunch after each service.
Membership
Membership is encouraged but not required. We offer many opportunities to become involved and participate in our ministry. Classes are available several times each year as well as workshops with guest speakers. We have an active social calendar with dinners, golf outings, poetry groups and yoga classes and men and women’s groups. We have volunteer opportunities for those who want to be of service.
Outreach
Our community outreach includes feeding the families at Valley Restart, food drives, holiday projects and participating at chamber and interfaith functions.
